6 places to get your Om on

6 places to get your Om on

Speaking candidly, I'm a total yoggie wannabe - a spiritual gangster per-say. I have my vices but I love feeling bendy, especially after a 10 hour bus ride.

Nothing feels better than 90mins of limbering up. Chuck in some ujjayi breath (breathing), some sun salutations (start sweating) a little back bend (showcase of my inflexibility) and my alltime favourite savasana (sleep session). Yoga and travelling go hand in hand.

Here are some of my favourite places to do yoga. Namaste bitches.

Special mention:
Bat-shit-crazy-lady Yoga Centre:
The name of this yoga place has been changed to protect myself from defamation and potential stalking. Let's just say this 'yoga' studio was in Fuatemala. A combination of yoga-like poses, kung-fu, interpretive dance and shameless vocal exercises.

That's a wrap. Of course, there have been more. Many more. Some of them are simply not worthy of my type-pad. But I am so grateful for each of these experiences and I look forward to many more to come.

If you are in South America and have any yoga recommendations, send them through!
